'Happy' To Meet You!

Last weekend was a wonderful party my friend Terry decided to host, to introduce a new woman into the community.  Even though I was out of town on party nite, I was able to turn the party over to a friend who worked it while I was gone.  Here is a collage of the two tablescapes I designed for Terry's 'Happy Hour'. 

I'm thinking they were all 'happy' after seeing the fabulous color!

A Pink Party in a Pinch!

What do you do when a friend calls in a panic and says, ' My mom is turning 80 on Valentine's Day and I planned her birthday party, but now I've got to be out-of-town, right up to the last minute!"  Can you help me, please??"

Well, of course I won't say 'No"!
There's nothing I like better than a challenge...even if it is a spur-of-the-moment one!  So, today I spent the better part of my Saturday, pulling decorations from several different boxes that my friend dropped off, and tried to design a party befitting of a "Queen Mother". 

In a very small room of an equally small church, I decided to lavish with color - and not 'stuff'.
I think it made a difference, and hopefully 'Mom' will think so too!

"Are You Ready for some Football?!"  Most of America is, and will be watching the biggest game of the year this afternoon - The Super Bowl! 

It's not too late to get your party together.  There are lots of party ideas to share that are easy, fun and for the most part, inexpensive.
